A special day for food and wine lovers, visiting a small-scale local grower passionate about his native grapes Nero di Troia, Fiano and Bombino in the morning and then off to Vallesaccarda on the hills between Naples and Bari, guests of the gigantic Fischetti Family. With three generations still directly involved and between other records - only Michelin starred restaurant equidistant between Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Seas, the highest in altitude in southern Italy – the Fischettis can count a dozen of family members "stove-to-table". Food here is taken very seriously - from homemade pasta to hearty soups, local lamb, and produce straight from the farm – and prepared with elegance and simplicity. Spending some time in the kitchen learning how to hand-form pasta and some basic preparations before enjoying the atmosphere and magic of this incredible place during lunch.
